In Conversation With Dennis Eyjolfsson

posted by Dennis

Dennis Eyjolfsson knows weddings. He should; for the last 15 years, Dennis has produced Victoria's premier bridal events and Island Bride, the ultimate resource guide for weddings on Vancouver Island. This Sunday, more than 900 brides and grooms-to-be and their friends attended the Victoria Bridal Fair at the Crystal Garden.

For just $20, guests enjoyed more than 80 exhibitors and a fashion show coordinated by Mayfair Shopping Centre's Style Coach, Bonnie Pollard. Brides-to-be received a complimentary copy of Island Bride, tasty free samples and entry into plenty of draw prizes. One lucky bride-to-be won the grand prize package, worth up to $15,000 in wedding and honeymoon services.

Dennis and his crew host the Bridal Fair in January to help couples who became engaged over Christmas and Bridal Expo in September, for those bridal couples who may have become engaged over the summer months and are planning their wedding for early in the new year.

Guests and exhibitors attend the fair from Victoria, Vancouver and throughout Vancouver Island. “The event is a wonderful opportunity for wedding couples to get information on the latest trends, ideas and products from Vancouver Island's wedding professionals."

From fashion and flowers to caterers and cruises, the Victoria Bridal Fair has it all under one roof. The entire wedding can be planned in one day in one place.

The Victoria Bridal Expo will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011 at the Crystal Garden in Victoria.

The lucky winner of the Grand Prize will receive:

  • A bridal gown from Blush Bridal Boutique
  • Photography package from Fetching Image Photography
  • Limousine package from L A Limousines
  • Catering from Truffles Catering Group
  • Spa Package from The Sidney Pier Hotel & Spa
  • Honeymoon Vacation from Expedia Cruiseship Centers
  • Dance Lessons from Studio 7 Dance Club
  • Tuxedo rentals from Moores Clothing For Men.

Dennis, thanks for taking the time to talk with us today and best of luck with the next Bridal Fair.
